- Legal Requirements: When required by law or to protect our rights.
5. Google API Services User Data Policy
Our application (ClipsOS) accesses, collects, and processes Google user data via Google API Services to enable user-requested features. This section explains how we handle Google user data:
- Access & Collection: We access Google user data only when you explicitly authorize integrations (such as linking your YouTube channel or Google Drive account to import/upload video content). The specific data retrieved is limited to the permissions/scopes displayed on the OAuth consent screen.
- Usage & Purpose: We use your Google user data exclusively to provide, maintain, and improve the user-facing functionality of our platform. We do not use Google user data for any other purposes.
- No AI Model Training: We explicitly do not use, transfer, or disclose Google user data to train, build, or fine-tune artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning, or large language models.
- No Advertising: We do not use Google user data for targeted, personalized, interest-based, or retargeted advertising.
- No Sale of Data: We do not sell, rent, or trade Google user data to third parties, data brokers, or information resellers under any circumstances.
- Sharing & Transfer: We only share or transfer Google user data with third-party service providers when necessary to perform services on your behalf (such as cloud hosting or secure API communication) and strictly in compliance with applicable developer policies.
- Limited Use Compliance: Our application's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
- Data Security & Protection: We implement robust security mechanisms, including TLS/HTTPS encryption and secure token storage, to safeguard your Google credentials and data from unauthorized access.
- Data Retention & Deletion: We retain Google user data only as long as your integration remains active. You can disconnect your Google account or request complete deletion of your data at any time by contacting us at mail@theclips.agency. Upon request, all associated Google data and tokens will be permanently removed from our systems.
6. TikTok User Data
The Clips Agency offers an optional TikTok integration so that a client can see how their own TikTok content is performing inside our platform, alongside their other channels. This section explains exactly what we access and why:
- Authorization: We access TikTok data only after you connect your TikTok account yourself through TikTok Login Kit and approve the permissions shown on TikTok's own consent screen. Nothing is accessed before that, and we never ask for your TikTok password.
- Permissions we request: user.info.basic (your open ID, avatar and display name, so we can show which account is connected), user.info.stats (follower count, following count, likes count and video count) and video.list (your public videos and their view, like, comment and share counts).
- We do not post to TikTok: we do not request or hold permission to publish, upload, or share content to your TikTok account. Our integration is read-only.
- How we use it: strictly to display your own analytics back to you and to the team working on your account inside our platform. TikTok data is shown only to you and to the members of your own workspace.
- No AI model training: we do not use, transfer, or disclose TikTok user data to train, build, or fine-tune artificial intelligence, machine learning, or large language models.
- No advertising and no sale of data: we do not use TikTok data for targeted or interest-based advertising, and we never sell, rent, or trade it to third parties or data brokers.
- Storage and security: TikTok access tokens are stored encrypted, transmitted only over TLS/HTTPS, and are never exposed to the browser or to other clients on the platform.
- Retention and deletion: we keep TikTok data only while your account remains connected. You can disconnect at any time from Integrations inside the app, or revoke access from TikTok's own settings. On disconnection we revoke the access token with TikTok and delete the TikTok data we have stored for that account. You may also email mail@theclips.agency to request deletion.
7. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your personal information, including encryption, secure servers, and access controls. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure.
8. Data Retention
We retain your personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this policy, unless a longer retention period is required by law.
9. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
- Access, correct, or delete your personal data
- Withdraw consent for data processing
- Request a copy of your data in a portable format
- Object to or restrict certain processing activities
To exercise any of these rights — including requesting deletion of your account and all associated personal data — contact us at mail@theclips.agency. We will verify your request and respond within a reasonable timeframe. Upon a verified deletion request, your account and associated personal data will be permanently removed from our systems, except where retention is required by law.
